Buga
Buga, formally Guadalajara de Buga, is a city
and municipality in the Valle del Cauca Department of Colombia. It is
famous for its Basilica del Señor de los Milagros, which houses an image of Christ
called el Señor de los Milagros ("the Lord of the Miracles").
Buga is a town with a cattle
industry. It is 46 miles (74 km) north from Cali
and about 114 000 live there.
Wrestling in Buga:
The
Wrestling Club in Buga is called „Bushido“. The Club have about 30 active
Wrestlers, a lot of them are Youngsters and Girls as well. Five of them are
Members of the National Team.
The
two young
wrestlers, Oscar Tigreros
and Carlos Izquierdo qualified for the Youth Olympic Games 2014 in Nanjing
/ China.
The Headcoach Carlos
Alberto Daza was
in 2014 also elected for
president of the provincial association
"Liga de Lucha
Vallecauna".
