Manabi

Manabí is a province in Ecuador at the pacific ocean. Its capital is Portoviejo. The province is named after the Manabí people. Manabí's economy is based heavily on natural resources such as cacao, bananas, cotton, etc. Its industrial sector is based on Tuna canning, tobacco, and alcoholic beverage production. Local productions include crafting of montecristi hats, and furniture. In the Manabi – Province live 1.2 million people.

Wrestling in Manabi

Manabi is one of the best provinces in wrestling in ecuador. International sucessful is Lissette Antes Castillo from Club Carlifornia – Manabi. The strong Lady won South and Pan American Titles. And is ranked at 5 at the World Championships 2014 in Tshkent/Uzbekistan.

At the Olympic Games 2012 in London, she was ranked at 9.

Coach in Manabi is Mister Cesar Carrecedo.
