"Ringsport Zentrum West"

The Wrestling Centre West opened in 2004 and offers modern training and accommodation for international training courses for local wrestling athletes and guests from around the world. The hall has a mat with 360m ² and eight modern rooms with 32 beds. Guests also can use a kitchen, a club room and a sauna.

A lot of teams from all over the world (CAN, USA, JPN, CHN, COL, VEN, SWE, ITA, ...) have been at RZW. Many national teams come to visit the international training camp, which is organized in June after the Austrian Ladies Open. But also national associations and clubs and from the vicinity use the RZW in the context of a recovery training course. The nearby public swimming pool, beautiful running routes through the Örflaschlucht or Kalkofen, etc., and also the nearby climbing routes offer a varied exercise program to the wrestling skills. The RZW also offers exchange programs with various organizations and associations from around the world.

The RZW is located in the Austrian Wrestling stronghold Götzis. The KSV Götzis is one of the best wrestling clubs in Austria. It is the home club of the five-time world champion in wrestling Nicola Hartmann. The coaches are: Bruno Hartmann, Eugen and Karl Kathan, Johanes Längle, Vitaliy Markotenko and Michael Häusle.
