Schifferstadt is a town in the Rhein-Pfalz-Kreis, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.It is situated approximately 12 km southwest of Ludwigshafen and 6 km northwest of Speyer.

The olympic training center also works together with the sports boarding Schifferstadt.
The sports school offers young talents in wrestling very good conditions for successful development in sports and in school. VfK Schifferstadt

The VfK Schifferstadt is one of the most famous and successful wrestling clubs in Germany.
Between 1959 and 2004, the VFK was ten times German team champion in wrestling. Countless world class athletes wrestled for the Team.
